Pandemic World 4 is a free, week-long co-operative event on the VATSIM network, running continuously from 22 to 30 August. Adapted from the board game Pandemic, it asks pilots to collect virus samples from 40 infected airports, relay them to a lab, discover a cure, and then fly it back out again before the infection spreads too far. No plugins and no installs — just register on the FSQuest Discord and fly.

Pandemic is a week-long collaborative flight sim event based on the board game Pandemic. Pilots across VATSIM collect virus samples from infected regions, ferry them to a lab (often by transferring samples to other pilots), and race to discover a cure. Meanwhile, infection levels rise on a global scale, so it's a race against the clock. Once the cure is found, pilots redistribute it the same way — landing in infected cities to immunize them. The community wins by eradicating the disease everywhere; it loses if the infection spreads too far or time runs out.
It is a game of tactics and collaboration.

FSQuest is a free, open and inclusive flight sim community that builds game- and goal-oriented events for the VATSIM network. It started in 2017 with Pandemic, a week-long global co-op game adapted from the board game of the same name and originally run by hand, around the clock, by a team of volunteer dispatchers. Today FSQuest runs several game modes on its own Outbreak engine, which tracks and validates every flight automatically so pilots can just fly. FSQuest community events are always free.
FSQuest is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by VATSIM, Discord, or any airline or aircraft manufacturer.
